Designing the Blueprint for Kwara State Government's Foray to eGovernance
This system was designed to provide access to information and knowledge about business processes and policies, a database of available investment opportunities, and the integration of all relevant MDA processes and data points required in investment acquisition.
Kwara State embarked on an eGov transformation journey to improve its financial standing and provide better services to its citizens. As part of this effort, the Investment Promotion System was developed to attract new investors and support existing businesses. This system was designed to provide access to information and knowledge about business processes and policies, a database of available investment opportunities, and the integration of all relevant MDA processes and data points required in investment acquisition.
Project Execution
To ensure the success of this initiative, a comprehensive approach was taken. Consulting, strategy, stakeholder sensitization, and training were provided to ensure that all stakeholders were informed about the benefits of the system and how it could be used to support their business activities. Systems integration, development, and deployment were also carried out to ensure that the system was fully functional and accessible to all.
The Investment Promotion System has been a success, providing a platform for businesses and investors to access information and opportunities in Kwara State. This has led to increased investment and economic growth in the state, and the system continues to be a key tool in the state’s eGov transformation journey.
